Ok guys most of you who know me would expect me to go somewhere if i get my lazy ass in gear. So if you wish to know what im going to be getting up to here is the outlay.

End of 2010 - Find 1 x job for money i.e. Barman, prostitute blah blah
Find 1 x Internship at a an animation workhouse.

2011: Msc in ANIMATION at Bournemouth or London
2011: Start Digital Animation Private Tuition 

Summer 2011: Summer Internship at either Pixar or Pixar Canada.

Update!

Ok so me and my crew are currently filming ACT 2 and its working out great. Our location is Stairs house on Lindon Road in the basement. This film is turning out great.

This is the effect I am going for by animating masks over the footage in After effects. donnie Darko just in case you didnt know.

Another update is that my email system for the university is playing up and not working properly, its been doing it for a week now, so if anybody wants to get in touch please email me at b.j.d.jennings@live.com


I am also having problems with the god damn university stores. They have taken all my equipment and wont give it back as first years have requested them all. It is annoying me as i can know only film Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday this week coming. So progress been quite slow.

ACT 2 LOCATION RESEARCH

This property has a basement which is shown above. It is a Mainstay property up the hill of Lincoln. We have scheduled filming this week coming. Also if you notice the picture most southern of the rest the spaces either side of the pillar is going to be bluescreened with some footage unyet decided.

ALTERATIONS

Ok so alterations to the storyline have changed slightly as ive been developing it. I have decided to team up with a Film student to create this film. However i will be acting as director. The storyline has developed from a film about cocaine to a film about addiction. We intend to utilize Noir lighting in black and white. giving me plenty of room for digital efefcts with colour.

We have set up all locations and are in the process of creating a storyboard. The script is finished and will be sent to Nancy by friday. Also for research i arranged a meeting (recordable interview) with a representative from ADMIT drug rehabilitation services. Which is great news, the interview is scheduled for next week and we plan to incorporate this realistic type work into the production to give that sort of documentary type feel.

In terms of soundtrack we intend to utilise the Editors a bit and an American singer you wont have heard of who vocals over a guitar

The water effects are now specifically going to be used in part with modelling of the interior of the characters BRain and his synapses (where all the messages are transported around the brain. Basically the effects the drug has on the brain.

Other than that i have begun and developed my R&D. Everything is good. The story is the height of this production. I am planning on learnign from my mistakes.

Next Animation

Based on a Dream Sequence utilizing Water Animation. Some images of inspiration follow:

 

This image is called Splash and is created using RealFlow4 which i currently have and am going to use in my animation to acquire realistic water. in the dream sequence there will be a ship like the one below (sorry for the poor quality)

I havent yet come up with a title

Ok here is a basic low res image of what i have done, i believe in regards to my objectives i have achieved success as my target audience are 4-6 year olds. Hope you like it.

My hard drive has been damaged and currently repaired. This regrettably has resulted in me needing an extension for the work of a few days. 

My Animation just needs to render and then i can finally get this shit out of the way, however the material was on the hard drive and currently being transferred to disk. Sorry for the delay.

All paper work however is complete! from a while back.
